Ultherapy Is the only FDA-approved skin tightening for the face. It uses pulsed focused ultrasound that actually gives the skin on face, neck, and décolletage area a “shrinkwrap” effect due to the penetration of deep intense ultrasonic waves that actually propel energy into the deep layers of the dermis instigating collagen production and tightening. Patients have no downtime and results develop over a 4-6-month period. The treatment is one time for the areas you choose to tighten and are permanent but can be done again as aging does continue. This may be a good choice for someone who needs a lift but is not ready for surgery or a full-face lift. A consultation is required.
Ultrashape Power is the first only FDA-cleared non-surgical procedure that used pulsed, focused ultrasound for fat cell destruction. UltaShape Power lll painlessly destroys fat cells without harming the surrounding skin, nerves, or blood vessels. It is currently under protocol for use on other areas, which has been cleared in Canada for these areas and can be applied by us with clinician discretion. Examples of these areas would be male breast correction, (gynecomastia) and underarms among other spots that seem to be tough to rid of fat. This technique compared to others is superior as most current research has shown. Showing fat reduction of at least 32%! Velashape III uses a combination of technologies:
a vacuum that elevated the target tissue, bringing it closer to the energy source.
Infrared Light (IR) directly heats the targeted area
Bi-Polar radio frequency (RF) energy safely guides heat evenly throughout the targeted area, so that it heats faster without damaging the skin.
These energies combine to deep-heat fat and the surrounding tissue. The result is a smaller circumference and a reduction in the appearance of Cellulite! The results are outstanding and it’s FDA approved to remove cellulite and tighten skin on the abdomen and thighs. Our results also show amazing improvement for buttocks and other areas. The patient is required to complete at least three treatments. Consultation and treatment can be accomplished on the same day. The results are long-lasting. CORE Co2 fractional laser is used for skin resurfacing, skin tightening, and destruction of lesions, acne scarring, and warts. Its two applications can be for cosmetic and for medical skin conditions. It does require a consultation. There is no medical downtime, however, there is redness and peeling after treatment which can last for up to two weeks.
Perfecta V-Beam is a pulsed dye laser that is used on scars, vascular malformations, rosacea, pigmented lesions, and skin tightening. It also has applications for acne and severe warts as well. It’s nonablative with minimal downtime.
Yag/Q Switch is used for removing brown spots, tightening skin, tattoo removal and skin rejuvenation. No downtime.
Lumenis laser is used for hair reduction. Like many laser treatments, there are several visits required for the result to complete.
