It is important to learn about the person who is administering injectables. It takes training, experience, and knowledge to be able to have good results. A Board Certified Plastic Surgeon has received the highest standard of training and experience when it comes to any cosmetic procedure and it is unlikely that many practitioners who choose to perform cosmetic procedures have training that is equivalent to a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Injectables are not an exception to lower your standard for a Physician when choosing this type of treatment. We see many patients coming from underqualified practitioners who have had undesirable results simply because they did not know the difference.
